Automation by Tyler Jarvis

Automation for small businesses

I design, build, and maintain automations that connect the tools your business already runs on — so new leads get a reply, information ends up where it belongs, and routine admin stops eating your week.

Based in Southern California, working with businesses anywhere.

Who it's for

Small service businesses — HVAC, roofing, restaurants, and similar teams — where a few people handle phones, scheduling, estimates, and paperwork, and the same steps get repeated every day.

What I can build

  • Connect your tools

Forms, CRMs, email, calendars, spreadsheets, and accounting tools passing information to each other instead of being retyped.

  • Follow up automatically

Replies to new inquiries, appointment reminders, and nudges when something hasn't been answered.

  • Move and check data

Syncing records between systems and catching missing, duplicate, or mismatched information.

  • Cut repetitive admin

Scheduled reports, notifications to the right person, and documents filled in from data you already have.

  • Internal workflows with AI where it helps

Sorting incoming messages or drafting replies for a person to review — only where it's genuinely useful.

Example workflows

How it works

  1. Intro call

A free 30-minute call about what's slowing you down and which tools you use.

  2. Proposal

A written scope and a fixed quote. Nothing starts until you approve it.

  3. Build

I build and test the automation with your accounts, then walk you through how it works.

  4. Maintenance (optional)

A monthly plan that keeps everything running as your tools change.

Hosting and ownership

Your automations run on n8n, on a server (VPS) that you own. I set it up and maintain it. You keep ownership of the server, your accounts, and the workflows — the server cost is billed to you directly by the hosting provider.

Maintenance

  • Monthly monitoring of your workflows
  • Fixes when a connected tool changes its API
  • Small adjustments to existing workflows
  • Keeping n8n and the server updated

New automations are quoted separately. Support is during business days — I don't offer 24/7 or emergency response.

Pricing

Every project is scoped and quoted after the intro call. You'll get a written quote before any work begins.

Questions

Do I need to be technical?

No. I'll explain how things work in plain terms and show you what to watch for.

Which tools can you work with?

n8n works with hundreds of apps, and anything with an API can usually be connected. If I'm not sure a tool will work, I'll tell you before quoting.

What happens if something breaks?

With a maintenance plan, I monitor and fix it. Without one, I'm happy to quote a fix.

Who owns the automations?

You do — the server, the accounts, and the workflows.

Start an inquiry

Tell me a bit about your business and what you'd like to automate. I'll reply within about a week.

What happens today, and what you'd like to happen instead.

e.g. Jobber, QuickBooks, Google Sheets

I'll only use this to reply to you. See the privacy note.
